How weighting works
Your grade is calculated by taking the sum of each (Score × Weight) and dividing it by the sum of all weights. This allows you to see your standing even if you haven't finished the course yet.
Grade = Σ(Score × Weight) / Σ(Weight)
Do weights have to total 100%?
No. If your weights total less than 100%, the calculator shows your current average for the assignments you have completed so far.
What if my score is not out of 100?
You should convert your score to a percentage first. For example, if you got 18/20, enter "90" as the score.
