Your course grade is a weighted average of your current performance and your final exam. The formula to find the required final score is:
Required = [Target - Current × (1 - Weight)] / Weight
What if I need more than 100%?
If the calculator shows you need more than 100%, it means your target grade is mathematically impossible based on your current standing and the weight of the final.
