CBSE and school-level grading
The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) uses a separate 10-point scale for Classes 9–10 where grades are assigned in bands: A1 (91–100) = 10, A2 (81–90) = 9, B1 (71–80) = 8, B2 (61–70) = 7, and so on. This scale is not identical to the university CGPA system.
