Understanding Credit Hours
Credit hours represent the amount of time spent learning per week. A 3-credit course typically meets for 3 hours per week. Most bachelor degrees require 120–128 credit hours to graduate.
How many credits should I take per semester?
Full-time students typically take 12–18 credits. 15 credits per semester allows graduation in 4 years for a 120-credit degree. Taking fewer means extra semesters; more means a heavier workload.
What are transfer credits?
If you transferred from another institution, your earned transfer credits count toward your total. Include them in "Credits Earned So Far".
